Parents-Teachers Day.

I received no lecture. Though whatever that my form teacher told my dad was HELL DISAPPOINTING.

No, don't get me wrong. It's not about me. It's about the whole class. All she could say was -> 2U is a really passive class.

So I was asked to be more active in class. Then the whole class might take part in stuffs and become active as well since I'm the monitor and I should lead them. =.=' Like I did not try. The thing is, there's seriously something wrong with my class. And I have the faintest idea about what it is.

Selfishness? Probably. Since we're the so-called first class in the whole form. Competition's strong and that's something that no one can deny. Apart from that, people might be thinking that the first class always hands in homeworks and projects on time. All done by THEMSELVES. Just so you people know, THAT'S COMPLETELY WRONG!

Being classmates with them for years, it's apparent that they still can't be independent. Maybe that's also one of the causes of us being so passive. I can't deny that I do stay quiet and not take part at times, but at least, I tried.

Here's a situation which I TOTALLY DISLIKE. I've been bearing with this since I was in primary school. So if any of you were in my shoes, I could guarantee that you wouldn't like it either.

*teacher comes in and asks for someone to represent the class for some competition*

*class keeps quiet*

*everyone turns and looks at me*

Classmates : TEACHER! ASK ANGELA TO JOIN LAH!

And the teacher would be staring at me. Wondering if I would agree. No offence to my classmates, but I ain't as free as you people think I am. Do you guys expect me to run up and down the stairs every single day, pant like a mad dog, repeat the same phrase asking the class to tone down and last but not least, represent the class in every single competition held in school? As if I have super powers or whatever crap.

I'm really sorry if I offended anyone through this post. But to be frank, I hate the fact that I belong to 2U sometimes. It's time to learn to depend on yourself, not anyone else. Lead, not follow. Change for the better. Not for the teachers or parents, but for ourselves.

And this would be what I would say if things remain the same way without any improvement : I've had enough.

Anyway, Dex, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Went out with cousin bro, his friend, and my sis to QB yesterday night. Watched Ice Age 3. *points to the picture above* The movie was hillarious! =) Almost got sore throat. Too much popcorn.

Went for the prefects' interview yesterday after school. I actually forgot that I'm in the choir club. Sorry Pn Lim. XD.

Had table tennis practice this morning in the primary school's hall. Coach treated a few of us 100 plus. Lol. Went for tuition as usual. Jan was there as well. PY and the others had to skip for certain reasons. I was supposed to skip too. But was lazy to attend the heritage briefing thing so I decided to attend tuition! So hardworking of me eh? =)

English Language Week.

I was hyper in school today. Heh.

Anyway, Nicole, grats for emerging as champion in the public speaking competition! You were awesome! =)

Got to sit effing front during the public speaking and story telling competitions. Cause' Vi and I were the timekeepers. XD. We accidentally rang the bell before the time limit, so one of the participants ended her speech seconds after the bell rang. But found out soon that her speech was supposed to end at that time since it was short. So it wasn't our fault after all! Lol.

Pn Vasugi decided to let us remain in the hall though we were supposed to be in class for lessons. Well, most of the my classmates didn't bring any books so there was no point in returning for lessons. XD.

Jumble was fun! 2U won! And just like last year, we had to clean the hall after everyone left cause' we were the winners of 2 competitions. =.=' That wasn't a good reason. But Pn Vasugi made us do it.

Violin class today was a lil' frustrating. Thank God Jia Jun was there. My violin's E string snapped. =.=' She sponsored me one. Thanks a lot! Tuning new violins seemed impossible. They just go out of tune once you're done with the tuning. Haih. And the bridges kept coming off.

Two string instruments in a day. My fingers! =(

The school should consider playing songs every morning before assembly. The atmosphere's just so different.

Tomorrow. I'm dreading it. I'm looking forward to it as well.

Yay! No lessons going on tomorrow. Except the last lesson of the day, which is History. Oh well, we're doing folio after all. So, a day off! =)

Oh and another good news! I'M NOT INVOLVED IN CHOIR ON SPEECH DAY! Bwahahahahaha! First time man! But on one condition that I have to gobble up my food every recess till Speech Day's over just to go to the music room to practise those 2 EVIAL songs. Haih.

The thing is, I AIN'T SINGING IN THE CHOIR THIS TIME! That's all that matters!

English Language Day's tomorrow. The reason why we get to miss lessons tomorrow. Good luck to those who're taking part!

*dies* I need to rush. For loads of stuff. Damn packed schedule. BLAAH!
