Mass Gathering '09.

Have been going to school for 4 days straight since Monday.

This year, BOP's supposed to have a leadership training camp, but we didn't manage to get a speaker, so the camp's replaced with more prefects' inauguration practice. =.=' Sad, I know.

So basically, Monday and Tuesday were all about prefects' inauguration rehearsal.

Anyway, Mass Gathering was held yesterday. Went to school early to finish the stage deco. And managed to complete the notice board as well. Gawd, that was close. =) The gathering started a little late 'cause we had to wait for the rest of the guests to turn up.

Sorry for the poor lighting. =( It's much brighter in real though.

The barbeque's supposed to be the last in the agenda, but we shifted it to the first. XD I tried fried ice-cream for the first time in my life! It tasted not bad. Haha. KPN came although she told me she couldn't come. But she left after the barbeque. =(

Well, we had performances according to our respective forms after everyone finished eating. The form 4 prefects played a video that they filmed as their performance. It was so awesome, and yea, it got everyone laughing so much. They can be the second Nigahiga! Played a few games before the gathering ended then helped to clean up the area. Lee Sa made me take the whole bag of leftover charcoal home. =.='

And when I arrived at home, my sis spotted a Shih Tzu by the staircase. It looked like it was abandoned. Of course, it was super cute as well! So Dad went around to ask the neighbours whether anyone lost it or something but to no avail. Sis and I played with it, and we realized that there was a part of its abdomen which was swollen. We thought that was the reason it was left alone. Turned out we were wrong. Guessed its owner heard my dad asking about the dog from the third floor. So they came to collect the Shih Tzu and we said goodbye. =( Oh, and the swell wouldn't do any harm to it 'cause we found out from its owner that its belly button wasn't tied properly when it was born.

OMG, *squeal*! I still miss that adorable thing though. =S

Btw, CLS students're so unfortunate 'cause we had to go to school today for some orientation crap. =.=' So we found out who our next year's form teacher is. *smacks forefead* That was a totally bad thing to know though. Sigh. Good luck to Chi Yan for she was elected as class monitor, it's really not easy being one. >.<

2009's coming to an end, and may 2010 be a better year for everyone! =)

Went to Dewan Sri Pinang last Thursday. Had dinner nearby with the rest before it started. The whole auditorium was so full. Vi and I saved seats for our crazy gang of people. Lol. Man, it wasn't easy since there were so many people without seats and the ushers kept asking us whether the seats were taken. =.=' Then watched the Christmas drama. It was nice. =)

Visited Tropical Spice Garden on Friday. We were given a tour around the place till it started raining quite heavily. >.<

Sis bought me J.Co Donuts when she came back from her hangout.

Went to school on Monday. Was supposed to help out in the video for inauguration, but since Deidre and I were the only junior prefects who turned up besides a few of the seniors, we did nothing but talked crap. Helped mum to make 'tang yuan' in the evening. XD

Somehow, I like the colors! Hah.

Yesterday was fun! Arrived in school at 9 for table tennis practice. Coach brought along the robot he kept telling us about last time. Not used to playing against it though. Still, it was awesome. =) Headed to Little Angel for lunch with Vi, Dei, Dian and Chandreena. Then back to school and started preparing our props for our performance for the upcoming Mass Gathering.

Finally managed to start working on the notice board. Can't wait to finish it. =)

Went for community service last week. It was fun! Had lunch at McD with the rest. Man, the weather was so effing hot that I ended up with a headache. =S

Had to go to school to help out with the registration of the new Form Ones yesterday. So-called 'ushering' was boring. =( But I survived, for four hours.

Gonna' attend PFAOG's annual Christmas presentation tomorrow night. Not involved in GOH. Yay. =)

And now I shall crack my head for ideas to decorate the prefects' organization notice board. Sigh.

KL & Genting trip.

1st December 2009.

Went to EQ Hotel for Christmas caroling. Got to eat during the buffet for free. The cakes made me so full man. =S

Headed to church later 'cause that was where we would depart for the trip to KL and Genting Highlands. Boarded the bus after registration and the briefings were done. Stopped at a nasi kandar shop for supper. Was still full so I didn't eat anything. Heh.

2nd December 2009.

Arrived at KL at around 5 plus a.m. Had breakfast in a coffee shop. Wanted to go to Old Town White Coffee but we had to follow the rest. =( Our next stop was the BB shop since it was still early. Nothing much there though. Sigh. The National Science Museum was next. Kelly met up with us there. The museum was sort of a letdown since there wasn't anything unique there.

Went to KLCC. Explored the place with Vi, Char, Ezra, Alwin, KJ, MS, KW and Daryl. Had lunch at KFC together. We took more than an hour just to finish eating 'cause we were too busy joking and laughing. Lol. That was fun. =) Managed to check in to YMCA earlier than we were supposed to. The place was much better than what we had expected. Haha. So all of us got to wash up and Mid Valley here we come!

Hanged around with the same people at Mid Valley. Had dinner at the food court. Then the guys wanted to play pool. Hence, Vi, Char and I left for the arcade. Lol. Was playing halfway till I turned around and saw KW there. =.=' Apparently, KW and Daryl left those guys who were playing pool. So we played a few rounds of games at the arcade and the five of us went bowling. MS and the others came to join us after their pool. But it seemed that our games ended once they stepped into the bowling centre. XD

Returned to YMCA and we sang a birthday song for Jing Kae and Char. =)

Basically, our day in KL wasn't that bad. =)

3rd December 2009.

Had breakfast at YMCA's cafeteria. Then left for Genting Highlands. New Moon was played in the bus during our journey. Watched it for a while and fell asleep. Heh. Woke up and arrived at Genting Skyway. Went up in the cable car.

It wasn't long till Vi and I met Wan Xin and Wan Ying. Those two were nice enough to come along with us. Had lunch at Burger King. Went on rides and also bowling again. Lol. Met the officers and the guys there. Had dinner and followed WX to the resort they were staying in. Her parents're really nice people. =)

Conclusion : Day at Genting Highlands would have sucked a total lot if those two weren't there. =S

4th December 2009.

Had breakfast with Angeline at the cafeteria again. 'Cause we were the earliest to wake up, I think. Anyway, we checked out of YMCA and Sir Joel carried out a short sharing session in the bus. Headed to Sunway Pyramid after that. KrsytleG and the rest wanted to explore the place but we ended up in the arcade instead. Char got addicted to Para Para.

Went for lunch at A&W. Then went ice skating with KrystleG, Beatrice and Vi. We almost fell at first. Man, Beatrice picked up really fast. She was skating everywhere while we were still holding on to the walls. =.=' KW and the rest came to the skating ring as well. Ezra was so funny since he couldn't get himself to skate to the front. Instead, he went back and back and back then kaboom! Got the hang of skating after a while. That was one of the best parts of the trip.

Left KL for Penang. The journey back was awesome though. Laughed so much thanks to Ezra and gang. Haha. Stopped at Tapah for dinner and laughed all the way till we reached 286. Lol.

Overall, the trip wasn't that bad la. Hah.

Today was the last day of school for year 2009. And that meant that my duty as a class monitor's now over! Like, YAY IT'S OVER! I've been waiting for ages for this day. Seriously, no one would ever wanna' be the monitor for 2U. Trust me. They actually had to ruin my last moments of being a monitor, with all those shouting and laughing and blahh! Forget it.

Had one-hour recess today. Some of us decided to buy B.A Donuts since we had leftover money in the class fund. Gave Pn Soon aka our form teacher some donuts too. I'm gonna' miss Pn Soon. =( She has been so patient with us yet all she received was a letdown. Sigh.

Well, it's over for this year at least. Time to move on.

Today was yet another day without lessons, not to mention, full of craps and laughter!

Anyway, we returned to class and received our PAT result slips from our form teacher. BM was a totally free period since the teacher didn't enter the class even though I informed her. Oh well. At least I got to continue reading novels.

After recess, people from Danzity came to our school for one of the programmes held for the Form Three students. SY and CY were so darn excited to watch those guys. They actually screamed when Pn Ann said they could go to the Beach Hall to watch. =.=' According to those two, one guy downstairs was HOT. They ended up watching them dance outside the class and not at the Beach Hall. How sad for them.

Vi and I were like, "Really that hot meh?". So when we headed to the staffroom, we went, "Chehh. Like that pun hot." Haha. Btw, thank you Shu Yao for the brownies! They're delicious! =)

Out of the blue, Vi was like : Fuck!

It turned out that her skirt buckle somehow came off. Poor thing. So she used safety pins instead. And I couldn't stop myself from bursting into laughter everytime I looked at her. Her expression was...undescribeable.

Pn Vasugi decided that she should not torture us with 'The Prisoner of Zenda' during Civics, since it's our last lesson with her. She made us play a guessing game, though I would rather finish the novel that I've been spending days on.

Hols are near! Tomorrow's my last day of being a class monitor! Omg, I can't wait!!!

Went home and mum broke a good news to me. Yay!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA!

School was just like usual. Most of the teachers didn't enter class. So I practically read a novel and slept. Ended up being awake thanks to LPG.

Stayed back after school with the rest of the Form Two prefects. To discuss about our performance for the upcoming Mass Gathering. Laughed like crazy. JaniceH was so hillarious! Dad said my face looked so red when he came to fetch me.

First,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY XIN YI!

Yesterday was fun! Pn Rohayatun let us bake pizza. And we had an assembly before that. Fortunately, the principal was absent, so there wasn't any super long speech. Phew. Mr Chan's speeches are much better. Short and simple! =)

Forgot my apron and borrowed one from Shu Yao the night before. Turned out that she forgot. Haha. Managed to borrow one from a canteen operator. Anyway, we started with the toppings for the pizza, then the dough. All of us completely forgot that there was another piece of dough (large one), hence looking at the leftover chicken, we started to finish it up till we realized the dough was just on the table. Heh. Thank God there was enough chicken left. Got extra pieces of pizza 'cause Kahini's a vegetarian so she gave hers to me.

During English, Felicia and I skipped class to help LPG with the choir costumes. Finished early but stayed in the 'Bilik Serbaguna' aka the music room. Ended up sleeping there for a while. Woke up then watched a Korean horror movie with Nishaa and the rest before heading back to class.

Today, it was raining in the morning and I was like : Yay! No need for me to do Beach Hall Form 3 today! Much to my disappointment, it stopped raining when I reached school. So my duty had to go on. And damn those stupid announcements in the staffroom. The teachers always have so much to announce on Tuesdays. Plain unfair man.

Pn Gurjeet came out from the staff room during assembly and carried out the streaming of classes for year 2010. Which meant I had to stand in front of the staffroom even longer. Goodness. Oh and she sure did give a piece of her mind to the Form Ones. I so agree with her!

Btw, congratulations Mun Ling for advancing into 2J next year! You're soooo much better than that useless monitor of yours. No offence, but it's a fact.

OMG OMG OMG!
I'm not dreaming, am I?
Yay!

Yesterday was my lil' cousin bro's kindergarten graduation concert. Wanted to watch him, but I couldn't make it. So my uncle recorded it. Couldn't stop myself from laughing throughout the whole video. I wasn't being mean, it was just that the kids were so cute and blur! My cousin bro was one of them. Haha.

Anyway, went to Gurney yesterday with my family, and ended up buying nothing for myself. =( Read Shu Yao's Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. The book's nice btw.

Woke up early this morning to have breakfast. Then headed to church. Attended service first. P.S : Sorry Su Hui! Had lunch with Stella, Vivian, etc nearby after that.

During juniors' session, Sir Joel taught me how to play Feliz Navidad. He's an awesome guitarist. The rest arrived for the carolling practice then. Ezra wasn't present, so Raymond ended up being the only guitarist. Well, at least Sir Joel's there to guide him. P.S : Good luck Raymond!

Sorry for not updating lately people. Was too lazy to do so. Apparently, I was busy reading novels. =)

So just to summarize my week so far, here goes.

Monday.
Nothing in particular. Too bad.

Tuesday.
Fell down when I was walking to the car early in the morning. Shu Yao got May Peng to help me bandage/whatever you call it. Thanks both of you. =) Anyway, everyone who passed the ICT corner stared at me and asked what's wrong. Goodness. =.=' Had music class after school and many of my classmates skipped it. They said the SPBT books were a burden and therefore, went home early.

Wednesday.
Helped Pn Lim to sort our the choir costumes AGAIN with Vivien. Skipped class for 3 periods. Stayed back for LAD, thank God Shu Yao was there!

Thursday.
No lessons at all. After recess was fun. We got to cook edibles aka food! Class was separated into 5 groups. Then we got to eat other groups' food, and Pn Rohayatun made us orange juice. So nice of her. And she allowed us to cook again next week! =) Had violin class after school. We tortured (not literally) KrystleG by confusing her with those music notes. Lol.

Btw, when we stepped out of the 'Bilik Masakan', we saw the principal talking to herself. Well, at least we thought so. So freaky man. Then Deidre went to take a better look, it turned out that she was talking to one of the canteen operators. Swt.

Thanksgiving 09'.

We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday!

Had one-hour recess. The school gave us free ice-cream. Fortunately, I didn't have duty so I was free to wander around. Hah.

After recess, everyone entered the school hall. Managed to get a fine view of everything since I did not have to be seated. Saras and Lai Zhu were the emcees for the day. They have talent! Lol. And Mrs Amy Tan was the guest! Wished she's still our principal. =(

This year's Thanksgiving theme for our school was 'Heal The World' if I wasn't wrong. Anyway, the event started with a speech from Pn Lee, then some presentation of awards. The non-teaching staff received hampers as tokens of appreciation too.

There was a slide presentation about the environment and a quiz as well. Stella was so desperate to answer but Hooi Ping didn't notice her all along. What a pity. Had a good laugh though. And finally, the highlight of the day, a performance by the school's orchestra group. Wouldn't consider them as orchestra since they're only a small group. Their performance was awesome! Genia's ballet was nice and Rebecca and Krystle's singing wasn't bad. KrystleY, Denise, Sau Cheng and Ming Yen performed too. XD

Lastly, Pn Shirley carried out a sing-along session. Was fun though. That marked the end of our Thanksgiving celebration this year. People, especially the fifth formers began to get emotional. Tears brimming and hugs. =( Will miss my form five friends.
