Mega Food Carnival (MFC).

So MFC was held yesterday at PISA. Helped people to carry their stuffs to their respective stalls using trolleys. Then the person in-charge gave us free coupons. =)

The opening ceremony was started with lil' kids marching! They were so cute! And it was raining so they had to march in the rain. Pity them. Heh. After all the work, Yi Wen and I joined Mandy etc and we went around searching for food to buy. =.=' The price of the food was as expected, the opposite of cheap. Lol. Fund-raising wert.

So we continued buying food and not caring much about how much they cost. Must enjoy once in a while ma. XD. Anyway, Vi and Su Hui joined us not long after that, and somehow our group got separated. Wandered around with Vi and Su Hui. We walked around the place like uncountable times! Hah. We were trying to burn calories after eating so much.

Those guys from Team A and B arrived then. And Sir Joel appeared all of a sudden and scared me. =.=' Gawd, I shouted.

Sunday School's kids performed! Super cute! XD.

The whole thing ended at 4pm. And since there were leftovers, those who were still in the arena got free food!

Didn't manage to take any pictures. Stupid cam. =( Might post some if I get hold of any from others.

See the cactus? It has finally started flowering after two years! Bought it when I went for a school trip to Cameron Highlands back when I was 12. As for the pink flowers, it's random, again. =)

So this morning, I was trying to teach my sis (who gives up pretty easily) to solve the rubiks. I think she cursed my rubiks. Not literally lah. Heh.

So when I was solving it earlier, it dropped onto the floor and boom! 4 squares came out of the cube. =.='

From this, it ended up like...

This! See the holes? Grr.

Anyway, it took me almost an hour to fix them back into the right positions. First time experiencing this, so you can't blame me for taking such a long time. XD.

Memories.

Yesterday night, I continued to read 'If You Could See Me Now' by Cecilia Ahern. Sis was revising for her exam. Then mum came into the room with photo albums in her hands.

Put the novel aside and reached out for the albums. Flipping through every page, I saw the photos of my family members and friends years and years ago. Seeing the photos when I was a baby, then to kindy and lastly, primary school. Looking at the photos of my family members when they were young, I couldn't help laughing at how silly we used to be and look like. Especially my sis.

Then there were these few photos, with my late grandmother in them. It's been 6 years since she passed away and boy, I sure do miss her. Frankly speaking, I felt tears brimming in my eyes when I saw the photos. Next, snapshots of my cousin brother when he was young. The last time I actually talked to him, I wasn't even in secondary yet. Once, I saw him riding his bicycle near his residential area, and he's a totally different figure. People change as time flies. If only I have a time machine, I would love to experience everything all over again as a kid.

Life as a kindergartner was fun back then. No worries, but only laughter and joy. Friends everywhere. I remembered begging my mum to go home when I was in kindy while most of my friends were instead begging for their parents to stay and accompany them. The good times, those were the days.

It was fun recalling those memories, but I really wonder, will I ever get the experience again? Everyone's different now, we're no longer who we used to be in the past, but the memories will never change.

First, HAPPY HOLIDAYS PEOPLE!

Yesterday was the BOP's AGM. And also the form 5's last BOP meeting. Bye seniors! =( Anyway, everyone's got their new duties and committees now. Apparently, I'm in AAC! O.o Same as Shu Yao! =) And there won't be prefects' trip this year. Grrrr.

P.S -> Shu Yao, sorry for not noticing that we're both in AAC. Heh. Paiseh.

Went to GP with sis and cousin bro earlier. Saw SY and CY. Thanks for the belated birthday present. Lol. Watched UP. Great movie. XD

Wanted to watch another movie but 'thanks' to weekend tuition, I had to leave! Ish.

Right now, I'm super hungry! So I'm currently craving for...

I have decided to read a novel since it's been ages I read one! If I'm not wrong, the last novel I read was Breaking Dawn. And I never finished it. =.=' Borrowed a novel from Shu Yao! Thank you!

Claudia read it till she cried. I wonder if I'd cry too.

MFC's this Saturday and I can't wait to skip tuition! Hah.

Speech Day 09'.

Speech Day was held none other than today! =)

Phoay Ning's voice was SOOOOO LOUD when she gave the command during GOH.

And there were like 4 speeches before we could move on to the prize-giving session. =.=' Being in the hall was SO SO SO SO COLD! Shivered like hell. Then when it was my turn to go up, the emcee read my surname as TAN instead of TEOH. Ish.

The orchestra members looked great! All of them had make-up on except for Lee Sa and Theresa. Somehow, they managed to escape from LPG. Oh well. I like the peacock dance! It's so, cute! P.S -> I know it's not the accurate word to describe it. XD

Saras and Farah were the emcees for the performances. They were AWESOME! Apparently, Saras was wearing a saree and everyone was like : Woooooooooo! *claps*

The 'angklung' group did much better today. I didn't expect our gamelan-playing to be as good as it was today. Maybe it's luck. =) I like the finale!

Ate during the 'jamuan' prepared for the guests, and then off to the cooking room. To wash plates, or course. Most of the junior prefects left early and left less then 10 in the room to complete the chores. Haih. In the end, there were only 4 left. While waiting for dad to fetch me, I saw Shu Yao, Ah Piang, Kalpana and Saras! We crapped like crazy people and the guard stared at us. People who were in the chapel also looked at us when Saras started shouting cause' a bee was after her. Lol.

Hungry + sleepy. So there, bye!

2U, I'm so proud of you guys! Most of them only lah. Not all. XD

There's this notice board-decorating competition in conjuction with the National Day celebration. And my class barely did anything.

The AJKs changed the notice board's background from black to white when I wasn't in class. The articles that the others prepared were also in white. So our notice board was like, VERY WHITE! Every teacher who entered our class didn't even notice that the board was our 'Merdeka' corner. =.='

So today's supposed to be the due date for this competition. I couldn't bear seeing the board in such a terrible condition. And during the last period, the teacher didn't enter the class. I just had to change the background back to black so the whole class started to take down everything on the board. Some didn't help out though. =(

We were like : *Eh! Where's the tape? The articles leh? This should pin where ah?! Need more bullets!*

Everything was haywire and we messed up the whole class. In the end, we managed to transform the BORING notice board into a MUCH BETTER one! In only 30 minutes! Gawd, I'm so proud. =)

Oh and we had the last BOM meeting of the year. That was when I found out that the deadline for the competition has been postponed to next week. Grrr. We rushed for nothing. By the way, we'll miss the form5s especially the committee members. They're awesome! *salutes to them* Anyway, we had a farewell party. I ate a lot. =) The food was great too!

I have to wash plates tomorrow. =.=' Speech Day.

I saw X this morning! =)

Damn fever. Grrr. For the past two days, I've been down with fever, cough and sore throat. =( And I haven't drank coffee for three days! T.T

Anyway, I went 'kaypo-ing' at the primary school's Speech Day yesterday morning. And the tall trophy for the excellent student award is no longer presented. Too bad. Nishaa and I were so grateful that we're a few years earlier to have received the trophy. =)

Man, those primary kids danced to the extreme. The last dance was the best. The whole thing ended earlier than I thought it would. So I rang PY up last minute for a movie. XD

Watched G.I Joe. The movie's AWESOME! A must-watch!

Went for tuition and I got fever again. =.=' Bleh. I should be happy that I'm fine now.

Speech Day rehearsal's tomorrow. That teacher seriously has no taste in selecting costumes. Playing tradisional instruments with white tops and black skirts on? =.=' I can't imagine.

Mere update.

=( Have been lack of sleep lately. Eyebags! Gah. Almost fell asleep in class today.

Going to school has been a lil' sad lately. The same thing just goes on and on. Nothing special, all those same boring craps. Speaking about which, people in my school are actually wearing masks! Don't get me wrong, not those party masks, but these. *points below*

Students are falling sick one by one. Many of my classmates weren't feeling well either. Even 'Almond's' mum wore a mask. =.=' I did too. Tried it out for fun. Uncomfortable though.

Since Ah Piang, Lee Sa etc are gonna' represent the school in some scrabble competition tomorrow, I wish them all the best! =)

I've been looking forward to sleeping too much. Sis and mum nagged me like almost every night cause' I headed to the bed as soon as I was home. Is sleeping even a sin? Bleh.

So we celebrated Founder's Day today at Wisma Penyayang. Thanks a lot to Sir Joel for providing Vivien and I transport.

Anyway, we followed Sir Joel to St. Xavier's Branch School cause' the juniors section had their parade this morning. Only 6 turned up. =.=' And there was this particular member who was so effing annoying and noisy till sir had to make him do push ups. Lol.

Had lunch then changed into uniform at AOG. Krystle and I followed Dex to the venue. And I don't think I'll ever ride in his car again. Very scary and shaky!

FD ended before 6pm and we had a short awards' session. Received my first aid certificate. But left it in Sir Joel's car. Then it was time for promotion. Gratz to those who got promoted! Especially the sergeants. They sure do deserve it. =)

I hope they don't leave. =(
